Janie L. Feldman, Psy.D. is a practicing psychologist (NJ Psychologist License #3481), and Certified School Psychologist. For over 15 years she has conducted psychotherapy, evaluations and consultations for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Dr. Feldman specializes in providing individual, group and family psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation. Prior to her private practice, Dr. Feldman trained and worked in hospitals, and public and private schools. As a consultant to schools and agencies (including the Division of Youth and Family Service, DYFS), she has created innovative programs, presented informative seminars and provided other psychological services. Dr. Feldman has worked as a School Psychologist, trained other psychologists, lectured and written scholarly articles, and has Master's and Doctoral Degrees in School Psychology. She is the author of "The Gift Box," an advice column appearing in two preschool newspapers, and is the Child Psychology Consultant to two independent preschools. Dr. Feldman has appeared numerous times on the live broadcast of the cable television talk show "Real Life" as the featured guest psychologist, answering viewers' questions and discussing important psychological issues.
